Drawn by the inspiration of all that surrounds her, contemporary Australian artist, Lisa Perhat, captures the natural essence of a landscape, a figure or a moment with simplicity and emotion to produce expressive and alluring works of art.

Born in Sydney, Lisa has lived with art all her life and, encouraged by her travels throughout Europe and North America, and her own life experiences, Lisa's art reflects her love of nature, architecture, colourful people and exotic places.

After residing in Spain for eight years and studying towards her Degree in Photography, a yearning for Australian life saw her return in 2001. Now based in Adelaide, South Australia, Lisa specialises in landscape, cityscape and figurative art, in oils, acrylic and mixed media. She produces works in large and small format and her art, which is both unique and affordable, is enjoyed in Australia and around the world.

While she modestly describes her approach as "simple and uncomplicated", Lisa's works have an appeal that draws the viewer in through the vibrant earthy colours and weathered textures of her cityscapes, rustic landscapes, and the enchantment of her figures. Her flair for simple expression creates exotic, often magical pieces which are both natural and emotive, to engage and tempt each viewer in a way which is both unique and personal.
